What I see…
Hi [Insert Name], My AI scraped your details from Linkedin and thinks that you do [Insert variable here] at [insert company here]. I’ve never actually seen your work, but here is a pitch for something that is loosely targeted at you based on a keyword and a high-level geography.
This is SPAM. This is bad for your brand. This makes you look lazy and uninformed at best. At worst you are lying - which is never a good start to a trusting relationship.
It gets worse if you are paying for these messages. You are wasting your marketing money on leads that will never convert while eroding brand trust.
This is a CRO mindset. Growth at all costs. A fixation with dashboards and short term metrics and the wrong OKRs. This is not a long-term Marketing strategy. Stop doing it.
